Difficulties At The Beach
Over the weekend me and my group filmed the rest of our music video. I had 6 shots left to film and got it all done at once. While filming I had to change a lot about the original plan. One thing I changed was instead of pizza I ate ice cream. This was because we were right next to an ice cream store while filming. Another reason was that a pizza was a lot more expensive and I couldn't move around while eating the pizza. Another shot change was the one where we were all dancing and partying. I had to change this because the beach was very full and I did not want to bother the other beachgoers. Instead of us partying, I did something similar. I hung out with my group on the beach and just chatted. This slight change wasn't as bothersome to the other people at the beach and was easier to film. The next shot was also slightly changed as a backup. I was supposed to play volleyball on the beach but once again it was still busy and there were no nets. To solve this problem I played football instead as a backup scene. For the main scene for this section, I just played catch with the volleyball. It is very similar to volleyball but just without the net. This way we have two possible shots to use for this one scene. One scene I kept the same was where I run into the water. I ran into the water from down a hill and swam around for a second or two in the shot. The last scene I did that I also changed was the scene where I dried off. Instead of drying off I just washed off the sand. I used those little fountain things at the beach to wash off. This replaced the shot where I was supposed to dry off but followed the same idea.
