Picking Out Music

I spent today searching around on music and video sites like Spotify, SoundCloud, and YouTube. I was searching for some eerie/horror music to put at the end of the opening. This song may be used for more than the ending scene but that will be its main purpose. At first, I checked Spotify where I found nothing I thought would sound good in that spot. Then I checked YouTube where I found a pretty great song. This song is titled  "Very Creepy Ending Song w/ Bells (Scary Music / Movie Soundtrack)". After finding this song I still checked SoundCloud just to see if there was anything better there. I ended up sticking with this song after everything was said and done. Now that I have my song I had to ask the creator for permission. To do this I first went to their Youtube account that you could access from the video. Their YouTube account was called Trickolas. After finding their account I checked all the separate tabs that there was to search through. I ended on the "ABOUT" tab where I found their SoundCloud account. On their SoundCloud account and YouTube account they said we can use their music for projects as long as we give them credit. After seeing this I searched their SoundCloud page until I finally found their email. In the email, I asked them a few things and informed them of a few things. I started by introducing myself and explaining that I am making a movie intro for a class called Aice Media Studies. I then went on to link the song of theirs that I wanted to use and why. I told them I need it as eerie ending music for my thriller film. Finally, I asked them one last question at the end. This question was what account they wanted us to credit. I did not know which one to do cause I could either credit his YouTube, his SoundCloud, or a third option like his real name. Once he responds I will know if I can use the song and how he would like to be credited in the movie opening.
