We Are Filming

This past week was spring break. Because of this, our group was finally able to film. This also lets us follow our schedule since we planned to film over the break. But as we were getting started with the filming process and gathering our props we noticed a problem. We had no one to film when everyone was on camera. To solve this problem we had to contact one of our friends. This friend was Addison and she took over and did all of Juliana's roles. This is because Julie has way more experience filming than everyone else in the group. Filming was really fun and we finished right on schedule. I acted in almost every single scene and had quite a lot of lines. This was a new experience for me because I usually volunteer for side roles or roles outside of the filming. Some of the new things I got to experience was having to memorize a lot more lines than normally. I also had to figure out where to stand and be so everyone was visible. I played Beckett. this character was scared a lot and was always arguing with Julie. One fun shot to film at the start of filming was when we get to the park and unpack and then cut to Sean's dad standing creepily in the back of the park. This took quite a few attempts to get right. One problem would be that I and Sean would forget a line or mess up the action. Another common error was Sean's dad would be too hidden or too far away to really be seen. We also didn't have Addison yet so Julie had to film while I and Sean unpacked. Eventually, though we found the perfect spot where Sean's dad was hidden, I and Sean got our lines right, and Julie did a very smooth pan
