Props And The Arts
Before filming could begin, my group needed something very important. This item was props. Some props were bought at a store. Others were made at home. Some of the props I had to make were letters. I had to create these for a few scenes. They were used whenever the mysterious antagonist needed to let the characters know something. I had some old red envelopes at my home. I grabbed some pens and wrote some postage codes on them. After that, I grabbed some normal lined paper. With that, I wrote a note. I put that note in the envelope and plan on opening it while filming. Another prop I grabbed from my house was the Lego. My group needed these for the opening scene. In the scene, Sean smashes a bunch of Legos out of anger. I got them from my room as when I was little I was really into Lego so I had lots to use. The final props my group used were phones. I used my phone for any scene where I called Sean. There was only one prop I had to buy from the store. That was the toilet paper my group planned to use for the pranking scene. The toilet paper would be used at Sofia's house and it was going to be wasted. Because of this, I bought the cheapest toilet paper I could which was also in the smallest quantity possible. Overall, purchasing and making the props was a very fun experience.
