This is my fully filmed and edited final task. It was really fun to work with everyone on this and I hope I can have the opportunity to do something like this again.
Today I showed people the current state of my movie. I showed a few friends. I also showed my family members. I showed my mom, my dad, and my sister. They all had lots of compliments to give. They said it was a very nice film. They also said they could tell I put a lot of hard work into it. I am going to focus on what my dad critiqued. I am having him review it because he watches a lot of films so he will be a good judge. My dad also is very honest. This means he is a great person to ask. He will tell me any problems my movie has. He will also tell me how he thinks they should be fixed. Luckily my dad said the movie was very good. One critique my dad has was the music. He said it needs more music in it. This is all good news because my group plans to further edit it. I am already planning to add more music. Hopefully, after I make all these changes my dad will have no other critiques. Sometime soon I and the rest of my group will incorporate the rest of the changes.
What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? During the opening sequences, the names of the actors are presented while the camera is moving downward what it looks like inside of an elevator shaft. It is very dark. The names of the main actors and producers of the film are introduced one by one while the camera is still moving downward, then shortly after the main characters are introduced , the title” Speed” pops up in the same font as the names. The exciting part of the title is it zooming towards the camera with “P” being the center of it. After the title is gone. More titles of other actors of the movie are presented, again in the same font. Now dramatic/ suspenseful music is playing in the background loudly. What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? In the opening scene the prioritized images are the floor numbers in the elevator shaft . They are prioritized because they are bold black font and everything el...
My group finished filming last weekend. Just look in the first half, Julie filmed and Addison acted doing Julie's role. We filmed the shots that involved the car moving. We also did all the shots from the street. These shots were incredibly hard to pull off. This is because of how we wanted them to look in the original vision. We wanted it to cut back and forth from Addison hitting him back to her reactions. Sadly we could not do this exactly, but we did get very close. First off, Addison had to drive the car, and she is not the best driver. This meant that while filming we all had to be extremely attentive and careful. Someone was outside the car at all times making sure we were safe. The rest of us were watching out the windows for incoming dangers. Finally, Addison kept her foot next to the break the whole time while driving very slowly. We filmed on a side street where almost no one else was minimizing our risk of any accidents. She also drove straight very slowly to make sure ...
