My New Group

This year I am working with an almost entirely new group. This is because in the past I worked with Kaya and Juliana because we all shared a class but this year none of us share a class. The only person that stayed the same from my AS year's group was Sean. Sean and I have been friends for a very long time now and we were happy to find out we had the same Media Studies A-Level class. I have known Sean since 6th grade so we both know for a fact that we worked well together. The moment we realized we shared the class we decided we would work together again. The only issue was we wanted another person to join us and that's where Sofia comes in. The new groupmate was Sofia. I've known her since last year but only really became friends with her this year. Sofia is also in a couple of my other classes. This will make it easier to discuss the project outside of class. Sean had been friends with her since last year as well. I also have classes with Sean. This will help us work outside of media class.
We all decided to work together for many reasons. One reason was that we were all already friends so we didn't need to do introductions or anything. Another reason was we all sat near each other in class so it was easy to talk to everyone and chat. Another advantage is we all get along. We all have found things that we share in common or passions we have in common. Overall, I am sure we as a group will work amazing. We do not know what we will do for the project but I do know it will be great.

Finished the Final Task

 I have finished the final task. My final task was to make the opening 2 minutes of a film. This task was very difficult. We had to learn new editing and filming techniques. One new thing we did was having to add in title cards. We also had to learn how to email people professionally to request access to their music. Luckily I had my groupmates. They were all very helpful. I also had my teachers. They guided us and taught us a lot of what we needed to know. The last person that really helped us was our friend Addison. While filming our groupmate Julie got sick. This means we needed someone who could play her character. Addison was nice enough to help us and act for us.
