Filming Day 2: Sean's House
Today was the second day of filming. I had to go to Sean's house to get these scenes. The longest and most challenging shot was the one my group decided to start with. This scene was long and complicated. I had to remember many lines for it. Another problematic part of it was the props. I had to set up a cup of water. This cup needed to be spilled. This meant my group needed to get the whole scene in as few tries as possible. The ideal number would be 1 try. Unfortunately, it took 3 tries. This meant Sean and I had to deal with some slightly wet floor, which was a hazard. This was not the only difficult shot to get. Another one was when I enter Sean's house. In this scene, Sean is supposed to hit me with the door. The only problem with this is that I didn't want to get a big bruise from the door. Because of this, I needed to find a solution. I came up with an idea. I tape something soft to the spot where my head would hit. Sean brought a sponge from his kitchen. I taped it and resumed filming. With this great idea, this headache of a scene became one of the easiest ones yet.
